John Davis is a Senior Consultant Solicitor and Advocate. He has been in practice for over 30 years and specialises in commercial, civil and criminal litigation, the latter in connection with white collar crime.
In addition, he is a member of the Royal Institute of Arbitrators and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.
He was the first Solicitor in our legal history to be awarded a Red Bag by Queen’s Counsel which was in recognition of his skills as a Higher Court Advocate where he enjoys the same status and rights of audience as a barrister. He currently represents international clients, including those from the United Arab Emirates and elsewhere.
As an Advocate, clients have the advantage of instructing John and continuity of service without the need to instruct, in addition, a barrister. He frequently leads members of the Bar as his Juniors.
He is also a former Royal Naval Reserve Officer.
His interests are rugby, as a former playing member of the Wasps, cricket (member of the MCC), rifle and shotgun shooting and tennis.
