Robert Bevan Consultant Family and Litigation Solicitor

Rob is a solicitor who deals with family law and civil litigation (county court/high court) cases and has over 35 years of experience in this field. He was previously a partner in a Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire Law Firm before joining Setfords in 2023.

Rob takes on cases for clients in the Nottingham and East Midlands area, and he has an office in central Nottingham. He deals with the following types of cases:

• Divorce/financial settlements
• Financial disputes between unmarried couples
• Arrangements for children
• Disputes relating to property
• Possession proceedings
• Money claims

He is always happy to give initial advice free of charge and to discuss a realistic budget for the cost of advice/representation.

His approach to litigation, and particularly in relation to family matters, is to try to resolve disputes by a process of negotiation or mediation wherever possible, whilst always giving the best advice to his clients.
