Miriam Bailey (BA(Hons), DMS, BVC, NLP LLM, is a Commercial law solicitor and an accredited civil corporate & commercial mediator with a strong background in business, dispute resolution, negotiation, civil and commercial mediation.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
Miriam was called to the English Bar in 2011 and in 2017 was admitted to the Role of Solicitors of England and Wales. She is also a CPD accredited mediation skills training provider.
EXPERIENCE
Miriam is a highly skilled commercial contracts expert. She brings a wealth of skills and experience to her legal practice from her legal and non-legal career including the retail industry, Information Technology Industry as well as her formal educational qualification in Business Management studies and LLM in Commercial Law and Legal Practice.
Miriam specialisms include advising on contract law, drafting complex and non-complex commercial contracts, negotiating contracts such as Joint ventures, strategic alliances, agency contracts, professional services contracts, and contract review.
She has significant experience as a commercial contract negotiator, civil and commercial dispute mediator. Miriam who is a registered member of the Civil Mediation Council has conducted over 300 civil and commercial mediation cases to date.
INTERESTS
Includes vegetarian cooking, playing Chess, the arts, theatre, creative writing, current affairs, yoga, web design and supporting independent charities including Support Through Court a charity based in the Royal Court of Justice. This charity does a superb job. It provides practical support to unrepresented litigant in civil and family matters. Its volunteers provide procedural guidance, emotional support and accompany the litigant to a hearing in any civil and family matters.
