I qualified in 2009 and worked for a few years in litigation, specifically in the area of White Collar Crime. I returned to property law in 2013 and now focus primarily on residential conveyancing, freehold and leasehold properties, and purchasing and selling.
My areas of expertise include:
- Residential Conveyancing
- Freehold and leasehold properties - purchasing and selling
- Retirement property leases
- Shared ownership
- Lease enfranchisement
My clients range from first time buyers to clients who are selling their much loved family homes following retirement, bereavement, or the wish for a slower pace of life in a retirement property. I listen and will forcefully advocate for my clients and always make myself available when they need me to explain, comfort, and generally support them. Many of my clients have lived in the same house for 40 -50 years and need hand holding with the process, making sure that they are happy to proceed with the next steps. Equally, when acting for first time buyers, I try to explain everything clearly and simply to ensure my clients understand the process throughout the transaction.
My clients like me as I am clear and concise, and I will always listen to any worries or concerns they have and try to address them. My clients always come first, and I offer them empathy, understanding, and knowledge to give them as good a service as I can. I love what I do and hopefully it shows in the work I produce.
Outside of work, I love reading, walking, going to the gym and watching rugby, but my garden - both working in it and just being in it and spending time with family - makes me the most content. Life is pretty sorted when these two are combined.
