Glynn Railton Consultant Solicitor

After graduating from Oxford Brookes University in 1991 with a degree in Psychology and Biology, Glynn worked as a transport manager for a national and international carrier. In 1995 Glynn set up his own logistics business in Letchworth Garden City providing general and specialised transport services for local businesses. Following the sale of his business in 2001, Glynn re-trained as a solicitor and worked in Peterborough for several years as a company commercial solicitor for a large regional law firm. Glynn operated his own firm known as Railton Law for 9 years from 2010, which he then sold in 2019.  

Experience:

Glynn is able to advise in connection with all commercial and commercial property matters and has acted in numerous corporate deals to include; the sale of a clean air-testing equipment company and the sale of a data processing company working within the NHS, both to US buyers. He recently acted in the acquisition of a large factory unit for £4m and the sale of local company for £1.4m. Glynn has a wealth of experience advising clients on shareholder agreements, commercial contracts and employment settlement agreements.

In addition to commercial and commercial property services,  Glynn has been advising on and acting on behalf of clients on private client matters for over 15 years. 

Outside of work:

I am Chairman of Letchworth Sports and Tennis Club, an 800 member multi-sports facility.  I play both socially and in club matches. 

My spare time is taken up with walking our dog Barney and planning our next holiday to France!
