Carol has been a qualified solicitor since 1983 and has many years experience in all types of property matters (both commercial and residential) , and the drafting of wills and powers of attorney. She specialises in particular in commercial property work and enjoys providing practical legal advice to her clients on the set up and acquisition, or disposal, of new businesses.
Carol joined Setfords in 2010 as a consultant solicitor to provide a high quality and cost effective legal service to clients in in Rutland, Stamford, Leicestershire and throughout England and Wales. In 2018, Carol and her husband Jules set up home in Scotland but continue to represent clients throughout England and Wales through Setfords head office. Carol also specialises in helping clients to move from England to Scotland (and vice-versa), dealing with the English and Welsh property side, while working closely and liaising with a Scottish solicitor on the Scottish property side.
