I qualified in 2015 into employment law having worked in criminal defence as a fee earner and police station representative for 7 years.
I have experience representing both claimants and respondents in employment tribunal claims and provide advice on all employment matters to both employees and employers.
I have worked for the charity Nucleus legal advice centre as the sole employment solicitor, taking claims from their inception through to multi day hearings at the tribunal on behalf of claimants. I then worked at Thompsons solicitors who are a large trade union firm representing claimants and providing advice to unions regarding whistleblowing claims, TUPE difficulties, contract issues and aiding in delivering training and speeches on important changes in employment law. I then moved over to representing respondents and have worked for several local authorities with all the nuances that local government that brings. I also provide advice to those local schools and fire service.
I am approachable and will always go the extra mile to help my clients. I give succinct, clear advice to clients in language that is easy to understand.
I also have a commercial mindset when giving my advice, whether that is protecting the public purse in local government or when getting the best outcome for claimants to enable them to go on and live their lives after an awful experience at work.
