Many firms of solicitors and lawyers will not act for clients in small claims matters (where the value of a claim is less than £10,000) because they are not able to provide a cost effective service based on their hourly rates. Kamran offers fixed fees for part or full legal representation with bringing or defending civil litigation in the small claims court.
Kamran graduated in 1997 from Liverpool with a Bachelor of Laws - LL. B (Hons) degree, and subsequently from Leeds with a Master of Laws - LL. M degree and PgDip. After duly completing his Articles of Training with a leading Clinical Negligence specialist, he was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2001. Subsequently he became an Advocate through dealing with white-collar crime for a well-established Crime specialist, and as a matter of course, conducted trials in the Magistrates’ Court on a daily basis.
In the fall of 2003 he began working for a contemporary high-technology practice, situated in the centre of a garrison town a few miles from RMA Sandhurst. After a number of years, he returned to Bronte Country, to join his family and to set up a sole practice, namely Khimm Rubic Solicitors, specialising in Clinical Negligence amongst other areas. Kamran has been a Consultant since 2015, t/a Major & General before joining Setfords.
With his extended family’s military background and his father having served with the British Army during World War II Kamran also applied for a SSC in 2001 to join the Regular Army as a Commissioned Officer in the ALS (a branch of the Adjutant General’s Corps). He is currently serving as a Reservist with a regional Combat Service Support unit.
Kamran is an artist and a published poet. He is fascinated by planes, and also enjoys playing polo during the astronomical summer. When he is not working he studies classical Arabic, learns to play the harmonica and supports orphanages and hospices worldwide.
