Career:
Kamran graduated in 1997 from Liverpool with Bachelor of Laws and in 2000 from Leeds with Master of Laws. After completing PgDip and Articles of Training with a leading Clinical Negligence specialist, he was admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales in 2001. Subsequently he became an Advocate through dealing with white-collar crime for a well-established Crime specialist, and as a matter of course, conducted trials in the Magistrates’ Court on a daily basis. In the fall of 2003 he began working for a contemporary high-technology practice, situated in the centre of a garrison town a few miles from RMA Sandhurst. After a number of years, he returned to Bronte Country, to join his family and to set up a sole practice, namely Khimm Rubic Solicitors, specialising in Clinical Negligence amongst other areas. Kamran has been a Consultant since 2015, t/a Major & General before joining Setfords.
Background:
With his extended family’s military background and his father having served with the British Army during World War II Kamran also applied for a SSC in 2001 to join the Regular Army as a Commissioned Officer in the ALS (a branch of the Adjutant General’s Corps). He is currently serving as a Reservist with a regional Combat Service Support unit.
Interests:
Kamran is an artist and a published poet. He studies classical Arabic. In his leisure time, Kamran enjoys playing polo and spotting aircraft. He also supports orphanages and hospices worldwide.
