I qualified as a barrister, called to the Bar in 2012 and completing pupillage from 2013 to 2014. I have exclusively practised family law ever since, as a family law barrister from 2014-2021 and then in a dual capacity (as solicitor and barrister) in Bermuda.
I have experience across the full spectrum of family law cases in both private and public law cases. My expertise includes:
- Divorces
- Financial remedy claims
- Child arrangement matters
- Protective orders arising from domestic abuse
- Drafting prenuptial agreements
- I have a particular interest in TOLATA claims (i.e. property disputes between separating non-married couples)
I have extensive experience in dealing with complex matters, such as financial remedy proceedings relating to complex business or financial structures (such as trusts) and/or protracted child arrangement cases, including cases of alienation or requiring the appointment of a guardian. However, I am able to work on cases of all complexities and values.
In my spare time I enjoy kayaking and swimming.
