Tom’s employment practice covers both contentious and non-contentious issues for businesses and individuals. As well advising all aspects of employment contracts and procedures, he has acted in a variety of contentious matters in the Employment Tribunal and High Court, including claims concerning fraud, unfair dismissal, bonus disputes, discrimination, TUPE, restrictive covenants, and cross border issues concerning overseas employees.
His employment practice is complemented by extensive contentious and non-contentious commercial work.
His contentious work has included actions in a variety of jurisdictions throughout the world acting on behalf of UK and overseas based clients including hoteliers, cruise lines, tour operators, and agents.
Tom’s non-contentious commercial experience covers all aspects of consumer booking terms and conditions, supplier, and agency agreements. He has particular expertise advising on data protection, package travel, ATOL, and consumer protection regulations.
An experienced advocate in court he has also been involved in a wide variety of injury and illness claims.
