I did my training contract with a local firm in Birmingham, where I had worked during holidays from the age of 14, having wanted to be a solicitor from the age of 9!
I obtained my law degree in 2000 and did my LPC at the College of Law Birmingham, qualifying in August 2005. After this, I decided to work in conveyancing after taking six different seats of law. I enjoyed this the most and thankfully still do!
I've worked at two legal firms in Birmingham during the last 17 years and felt that I wanted to be my own boss and create my own small team. Being a consultant at Setfords will allow me to give my clients the quality of legal work they deserve, but also give me the flexibility to take on the amount that works for me.
I have a small office on Hagley High Street, where I work with my assistants, and enjoy working with local people.
Also, I work with a lot of local agents and mortgage advisors. My personal approach to all clients has enabled me to forge lasting professional relationships and, thankfully, a growing client base, which I am tremendously grateful for.
Outside of work, I enjoy visiting national trusts with my husband and son and keeping fit!
