Zoë qualified as a Commercial Property Solicitor in 1993 and specialises in the drafting and management of residential developments and acting for private individuals in the sales and purchases of residential properties.
Zoë offers over 25 years of knowledge and expertise in the house building sector and understands the challenges and issues faced by house builders and the importance of maximizing sales and cash flow within tight timescales. Often involved in high value and complex sale and purchase transactions, Zoë is accustomed to preparing and negotiating detailed estate and transfer documentation on behalf of private and corporate clients and high net worth individuals. Her unique skills and experience extend beyond just the pure legal issues of a deal. They also encompass advice and assistance on the financial and commercial aspects of a matter including the sales and marketing processes which perform a vitally important role in each transaction.
Zoë has represented her developer clients at property exhibitions both in the UK and abroad, in particular, Hong Kong, South Africa and Dubai. Zoë started her training at a specialist property firm in Surrey in 1991 having graduated from Nottingham Law School with an LLB Honours Degree. She was a Partner in the Commercial Property Department and became Deputy Managing Partner and Practice Manager of the Guildford Office in early 2008. She left private practice in 2011 to become a consultant solicitor and joined Setfords in January 2016.
