Lucinda is an experienced property solicitor. She qualified in 2016, having trained and worked across a broad range of settings, including city firms, high street practices, and local government. After qualifying, she spent a year in private practice before moving into a local authority role, where she developed significant expertise advising on complex property matters and public-sector housing initiatives.

Lucinda advises on both commercial and residential property transactions and is known for her enthusiastic, efficient, and highly organised approach. She is proactive in meeting client needs and places strong emphasis on clear, effective communication with all parties, including estate agents, to ensure transparency and achieve timely completions.

A key highlight of Lucinda’s career was her role in setting up the legal practices and procedures for a private housing company established by a local authority to purchase residential properties. She played an integral role in advising council members during the company’s formation and led the legal team responsible for conveyancing. The project was later nominated for a local government award in recognition of its successful setup and operation.

Lucinda particularly enjoys working closely with clients and takes pride in explaining legal concepts in a clear, accessible way. Alongside her legal practice, she is an associate lecturer at a local university, teaching on the Solicitors Qualifying Exam and Barristers Training Course. She lectures in Property Law, Legal Writing, Drafting, and Opinion Writing, and values the opportunity to share real-world experience with students while breaking down complex legal principles into practical, understandable guidance. She credits teaching with keeping her knowledge sharp and reinforcing best practices in property transactions.
