Marija originally qualified as a solicitor in 2014 as a corporate commercial solicitor within a Top 50 law firm, however, with family law being her passion, she retrained as a family lawyer.
Marija's main areas of work are:
- Divorce and separation, including financial matters
- Child residency and contact issues
- Protection against domestic violence
- Cohabitation disputes
Marija deals with the day-to-day management of cases, providing advice and negotiations with other parties where appropriate. Marija represents either the applicant or respondent in Court for matters relating to children, financial matters in relation to divorce, and protection against domestic violence including First Hearing Dispute Resolution Appointments, Dispute Resolution Appoints, Urgent and Without Notice hearings and First Appointments.
Marija takes a no-nonsense approach with a view to avoiding lengthy litigation where necessary and aiming to settle the dispute in a manner to suit her clients and the circumstances.
In her spare time, Marija is very active and loves to travel. She enjoys attending music festivals and gigs and spending time with friends and family.
