James Dixon Consultant Litigation Solicitor

James has been a commercial litigator for 17 years. He advises businesses, funds, and high-net-worth individuals on complex, commercial disputes. He started his legal career in London before moving offshore, where he spent a decade practising in the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands. James returned to London in 2022 as a litigation partner at the London office of an international law firm.

Having practised extensively in both London and offshore jurisdictions, James brings an international perspective to multi-jurisdictional matters. Madoff Investment Securities insolvency, as well as significant digital asset proceedings before the English High Court. James has also advised on Cayman Islands fund disputes, most notably In the matter of Income Collecting 1-3 Months T-Bills Mutual Fund (In Official Liquidation), which included a framework described by the Grand Court as a “new paradigm” for cross-border judicial co-operation.
