Meera Tailor Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Meera is an experienced specialist Medical Negligence Solicitor, dealing only with medical negligence claims on behalf of claimants. Meera first started specialising in the field of medical negligence in 2015 after completing her law degree. She went on to complete her Legal Practice Course (achieving a distinction), and she later qualified as a Solicitor in 2022.

She has previously worked alongside Consultant Solicitor Adam Wright at two of the country’s leading medical negligence firms (both ranked Tier 1 for medical negligence), before she joined Setfords in October 2024.

• Securing an out of court settlement for a client who sustained an injury to her bowel during hysterectomy surgery. She developed sepsis and required a hemicolectomy (removal of part of the bowel), which resulted in life-long changes in bowel habit.
• Securing an out of court settlement for a family whose young son sadly passed away after there was a failure to diagnose and treat infection of a transplanted organ.

In her spare time, Meera enjoys country walks with her husband, cooking, and spending quality time with her family.
