Stefanie worked in the city for many years at leading international law firm CMS (UK). She worked on a range of commercial matters and disputes before moving in-house, where she led a legal team delivering practical and commercial advice to all levels across the business.
Qualifying in 2016, Stefanie represents clients in business, disputes and charity matters. Clients benefit from her high-quality experience and receive first-class work, also benefiting from her dual-qualification as a solicitor-advocate.
Stefanie is driven by a desire to help businesses succeed and overcome obstacles, and she provides practical legal advice to enable businesses to minimise legal risks and focus on their day job. Stefanie’s approach is to understand the client’s goals and business and provide strategic and commercial advice.
Beyond Stefanie’s specialist interest in AI governance (including advising businesses on AI policies, strategies and key clauses in contracts), Stefanie’s experience is broad, and she advises on:
- Business Law – including advising start-ups, contract drafting and negotiation; contract and policy reviews (risk analysis), intellectual property matters and brand management, data protection, termination and exit strategies.
- Dispute Resolution – including contractual disputes (e.g. disputes arising from allegations of breach of fiduciary duties, negligence, misrepresentation), defamation, data breaches/crisis management, debt recovery, shareholder and partner disputes, settlement agreements, compliance and regulatory matters.
