Jonie is a highly experienced Commercial Property Solicitor having qualified in 2013 at Addleshaw Goddard in London. She has an extensive knowledge of commercial property, and has specialised in this area of law for more than a decade.

Jonie acts for individuals (both ;andlords and tenants), buy to let portfolios, and property investment companies. She deals with estate property management, retail units, single unit commercial properties, and multi-let properties.

Jonie has a vast knowledge of commercial property sale and purchase transactions. She can manage the documentation through data rooms online to enable efficient service. She is happy to work with a client’s banker, agents, accountants, and other professional advisors to ensure matters are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Jonie has extensive knowledge of the purchase of commercial property through pension schemes (SIPPs and SASSs). She is experienced in ensuring the additional level of compliance procedures are met when dealing with pension properties.
She advises on the following:
- Transfers between one provider to another (“in-specie”)
- The sale and purchase of SIPPs and SASSs
- Secured lending, finance, and refinancing of SIPPs and SASSs
- Leasehold management including the granting of leases to connected and unconnected parties. Also including any further documentation such as assignments, licences and sublettings

Although not a commercial property case, she worked on the Boris Berezovsky v Roman Abramovich litigation, which will always stand out as one of the most interesting cases she has worked on due to the legal complexities and intrigue!
