I am an experienced Property Lawyer, qualified as both a Chartered Legal Executive and a Licensed Conveyancer, with expertise dealing in all aspects of Residential Conveyancing, including Sales, Purchases, Remortgages, Transfer of Equity and Equity Release, with additional niche skills in Landlord and Tenant matters, such as Lease Extensions and Freehold Purchases.
Having acted on behalf of a broad spectrum of clients, on a vast array of property transactions, I appreciate that it is vital I identify the individual client’s specific needs, by taking time to discuss the requirements with all the parties and managing expectations. In doing so, this can reduce stress levels in what is historically a very worrying time for people.
I understand that many younger clients acquiring their first home can find the conveyancing process very daunting. This can be a similar story for people with families or those that have not moved for many years. I consider it important to offer additional support to guide my clients through the process, as well as being available outside of traditional office hours, as I understand that it can be difficult to make time to deal with matters during a busy life. I also have experience in dealing with various Help to Buy schemes and other government initiatives.
When acting on behalf of developer clients, in relation to land acquisitions and redevelopment, I recognise that quick timescales are essential!
To assist in providing the highest level of service, I provide a flexible approach, enabling you to attend the office in person, or I will happily come and visit you at your home, at a time and on a day to suit you.
I started Conveyancing within the Dorset and New Forest Area in 2003, qualifying as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2009. I later took further exams in 2014 to qualify additionally as a Licensed Conveyancer. I have always lived and worked locally and therefore I have a significant amount of local knowledge.
