Dymphna is an experienced solicitor specialising in Divorce, Ancillary Relief, Cohabitee claims under the Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustee Act (TOLATA) and conveyancing arising from separation along with Probate.
I am a 20-year qualified solicitor and specialise in a wide range of family law including divorce and financial issues, cohabitee and civil partnership issues. I advise couples many of whom are professionals with significant matrimonial assets and pensions, right through to couples with much smaller assets. I provide an all-round service, as I also undertake matrimonial conveyancing and transfers of property.
I also crossed into Civil Litigation as a specialism, as I have dealt with many Chancery High Court Disputes, especially family claims under the TOLATA and family claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975.
I pride myself on being knowledgeable in a wide range of legal areas so can give rounded and holistic advice to clients. I am able to follow a case right through from separation, divorce and children matters, to the sale or transfer of the matrimonial or cohabitee home.
I undertake Wills, Inheritance tax planning, Probate and Administration of Estates.
As a trained Commercial Mediator, I do advocate an approach of negotiation between the parties, where possible, in the interests of maintaining family civility and preserving relationships.
Approachable and understanding, I am dedicated to providing the best all-around service for clients.
I am content to see clients in person but am equally comfortable using technology such as Teams or Zoom, or even WhatsApp facetime. I offer fixed fees and competitive hourly rates compared to traditional High Street practices.
