Kate Herbert Consultant Associate Solicitor
Kate Herbert qualified as a Solicitor in 2024 through the SQE route, having worked exclusively in conveyancing since 2013. Over more than a decade in property law, she has gained experience across traditional high street firms, large online conveyancing practices and corporate PLCs, giving her a broad perspective on the residential property market throughout England and Wales.
This varied background has enabled Kate to develop a clear understanding of what clients value most during a property transaction: clear communication, accessibility and a proactive approach. She is committed to delivering a personal service that combines technical expertise with practical, straightforward advice.

Approach to work and clients
Kate believes that property transactions should never feel impersonal. While many traditional conveyancing models prioritise volume, she maintains a carefully managed caseload to ensure every client receives the attention and responsiveness they deserve. Clients deal directly with Kate throughout their transaction, from initial instruction through to completion and beyond.
Clear communication and attention to detail are at the heart of her approach. Kate prides herself on identifying potential issues at an early stage, maintaining strong relationships with estate agents, brokers and other professionals, and ensuring transactions progress as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
She particularly enjoys working closely with clients from all backgrounds, whether assisting first-time buyers taking their first step onto the property ladder or experienced investors seeking an efficient and seamless service. Her focus is always on making the process understandable, manageable and as stress-free as possible.
Career Highlights
One of Kate's most memorable transactions involved acting on the purchase of a property that came complete with its own vineyard, combining elements of residential, agricultural and commercial property work. The matter highlighted the variety and unique challenges that property law can offer and remains a particular career highlight.
Outside of Work
Alongside her legal practice, Kate has developed a growing presence on LinkedIn, where she shares practical insights into the conveyancing process and helps demystify property law for clients and professionals alike. Through her content, she aims to make legal matters more accessible, informative and engaging.
When she's not creating property magic, Kate is usually juggling life with her husband, two energetic little girls (who are always on the go), their labrador Luna (who's convinced she’s in charge) and her horse Ebbie (who keeps her grounded and occasionally muddy). Her day doesn't truly start until she's had a strong coffee (or three) and she likes to enjoy a glass of red or a G&T to unwind whilst plotting her next adventure.
