I qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 and specialise in clinical negligence litigation.
I dealt with clinical negligence claims within my own firm which I started in 2005. I have experience in many different types of actions including group actions. I have brought claims against NHS Trusts, private consultants, opticians, dentists and GPs. I was involved in the high profile group litigation involving unnecessary surgery by the former breast surgeon Ian Paterson.
As a result of my specialism I was appointed by a legal expense insurance company to their panel dealing with clinical negligence claims. I have dealt with a wide variety of claims including cases of misdiagnosis, failure to refer, failure to diagnose, consent issues where the claimant was not properly informed, maxillofacial claims, gynaecological and obstetric claims, oncology claims and vascular claims. I also have extensive personal injury experience including cases involving amputations and brain injury.
I have a passion for helping clients and their families who have been let down by medical professionals after putting their trust in them. My aim is to obtain the best treatment and rehabilitation for my clients to enable them and their families to move on and obtain the compensation they deserve.
