Richard Hull Consultant Solicitor

Richard specialises in private criminal defence work, regulatory matters and road traffic law. 

With considerable knowledge of road traffic law, Richard advises and represents clients facing a range of motoring offences, including speeding and causing death by dangerous driving. He has particular experience assisting clients with penalty points in 'Exceptional Hardship' situations.

Richard also advises individuals and companies on matters investigated and prosecuted by the Police, HSE and Trading Standards.

He has also acted on behalf of sportspeople before disciplinary hearings of sporting bodies, including the Football Association. 

Richard has held Higher Rights of Audience since 2010. He has represented clients in the Crown Court and Court of Appeal and has many years of experience in complex areas of law.

His approach is clear but personal, believing that securing the right advice and making the right decisions in the early stages can make a real difference to the outcome of any investigation.

Richard graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in Business Law. He qualified as a solicitor in 1999, having trained with a firm in central Birmingham, going on to become the Managing Partner of a firm for 10 years prior to working with Setfords.
