Paul has been working in the industry for over 15 years on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants.
He specialises in litigation of all types, including Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, Contract disputes and Housing Disrepair claims.
He has had great success in contractual disputes, debt recovery matters and Consumer Claims, including matters arising from s.75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
He recently succeeded in obtaining a large settlement for a lady who lost her hand whilst working with defective machinery at work and for a gentleman in his 20’s who had suffered life changing complications caused by a failure to diagnose a tumour located in his hip.
Paul has successfully settled a number of complex Clinical Negligence cases, including those relating to injury at birth, caudia equina syndrome and misdiagnosis.
CCJ Removals
Paul has established a niche practice in relation to setting aside county court judgments (CCJ removal) over the last few years.
He has developed his own bespoke way of dealing with these complex matters, which a large number of clients have benefited from. His vast knowledge gained from dealing with general litigation matters over the last 20 years enables him to bring CCJ removal matters to a successful conclusion. Many clients are often turned away by other firms due to a lack of understanding and knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and different sub-sets of litigation, which ultimately can be the difference between a successful and unsuccessful CCJ removal case.
Paul urges anyone adversely affected by a CCJ and wanting to potentially remove it from their credit file to speak to him first. As a Consultant Solicitor, he deals with all matters exclusively, rather than junior members of staff.
Unlike unregulated CCJ removal companies, as a solicitor, Paul has the right to go on the court record and represent you at court, enabling him to achieve the best possible result.
In his spare time, Paul enjoys hiking in the Peak District and watching sport.
