I am an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor, manager, and an accredited mediator.

Qualifying as a solicitor in 1986, I was based in Cardiff and Cheltenham before moving to Lincolnshire where I worked for over 20 years as managing partner and a Commercial Property lawyer at Frearsons. Recently I completed 4 years as Managing Director, Director and a commercial property solicitor at Hill & Abbott in Chelmsford, before joining the team at Setfords. Alongside my work as a solicitor I am Managing Director of CCR limited, a company providing costs recovery services to firms of solicitors all over the country, and care fee funding advice to solicitors and private clients.

My work in Commercial Property has included, Freehold sale and purchase of land, the granting, acquisition and renewal of leases, sale and purchase of business, residential estate acquisition and set-up, partnership agreements, options, collaboration and promotion agreements, overage sales and purchases, as well as other work normally undertaken in this area of law.

My experience in law and business gives me a unique insight into the commerciality required by modern law firms as well as the ability to understand the needs of commercial clients.
