Jayne Acklam Senior Consultant Family Solicitor

Jayne is a qualified barrister (non-practicing) and solicitor with over a decade of experience in family law. She holds an LLM in Advanced Legal Practice and was a senior partner at a local law firm before joining Setfords.

Jayne is a member of Resolution and adopts a constructive, non-confrontational approach to resolving issues for clients. She leverages her expertise to offer guidance and is known for her tough negotiation skills and strong advocacy. Jayne is known for her resourcefulness, responsiveness, honesty, and trustworthiness, and always strives to deliver value for money.

Jayne specializes in children law, domestic violence, divorce/civil partnerships, ancillary relief, and cohabitation disputes. She has extensive experience in both public and private law proceedings, representing parents, grandparents, and children in complex and sensitive cases. Additionally, Jayne has successfully represented clients in historical sex abuse cases and recently secured substantial damages for a client in a case against a local authority.
