Susan Macpherson, a highly experienced real estate and commercial property lawyer has joined Setfords as a Senior Consultant Solicitor.

Susan brings her vast experience of working with developers of mixed-use waterside properties, port authorities and councils in the regeneration of inner cities. In joining Setfords Susan provides expert advice in relation to development of commercial estates, regeneration projects, ports, marinas and associated estate management. As a Senior Consultant Solicitor at Setfords, Susan offers clients a deep understanding of complicated, multi-stakeholder projects.

Susan joins Setfords from Elliott Macpherson Legal Limited where she is Director and Founder, offering consultancy to a variety of clients across the property sector. With a background in acting for high-profile clients including Southampton Football Club, in the land assembly for St Mary’s Football Stadium, a major Port Authority in developing a commercial port, and a large Marina Group on acquisitions. In-house at the MDL Marinas Group, Susan advised in the development of Ocean Village, Southampton, two public inquiries and an acquisition in Spain. At the Marina Projects Group she advised on the acquisition of James Watt Dock Marina in Glasgow.
