Hot Tubs among the top ten causes for neighbour disputes

Dispute Resolution experts may have already noticed this, but the fad for families to now have a hot tub in their back garden has led to them featuring on the list of top ?garden rage? issues list for the first time following a survey by the BBC’ Gardeners’ World magazine . The biggest complaint is around the increased noise levels usually later in the evening as many household opt for hot tub parties instead of going out. Many also claim that the incessant bubbling sound of the tub thoroughly annoy them.

This new trend originated in Scandinavia but it has now become very popular in the UK with estimates of around 6,000 being sold every year. Experts claim that the increase is due to the busy lives that people lead now and their desire to relax as well as the cooler summer that we have seen this year.

Other annoyances featuring on the list include noisy televisions and radios, power tools and bright security lights. No doubt property litigation lawyers will have heard these kind of complaints and many far more obscure.
