Setfords has been recognised in Legal Week’s British Legal Awards 2017 for the way it generates work for its consultant lawyers through its bespoke technology.
The firm was ‘highly commended’ in the category of “Best Use of Technology” following the development of a geo-location database that helps generate tens of thousands of location-specific landing pages for consultants. It also increases efficiency in getting other work generated by the firm to the right lawyer.
Co-CEO Chris Setford said: “Our support team is focused on delivering systems that enable consultants to succeed, with ease and flexibility. Helping consultants to connect to clients is just one way in which we deploy technology to help our lawyers generate income.”
Co-CEO Guy Setford added: “The geo-location database is the latest initiative to come from our business development, marketing, web and design departments – a team that has generated millions of pounds in business for our consultants. It provides a superior service for lawyers, which reflects in the high quality service our lawyers give their clients.”
This accolade is the latest achievement for Setfords, which has also won praise for its innovative practices from The Lawyer, Legal Week and the Law Society.
