Setfords Solicitors, a trading arm of Meaby & Co Solicitors LLP is delighted to announce that it has been awarded CQS accreditation by The Law Society.
The scheme, regulated by The Law Society, is open to law firms with residential property departments, and was set up to establish a recognised quality benchmark for conveyancing. By acquiring CQS accreditation members establish a much higher degree of credibility with lenders, insurers, regulators and consumers.
On its website, The Law Society states,
“The scheme creates a trusted community which will deter fraud – year on year we will drive up standards.”
The application process is detailed and rigorous making the success a real achievement for Setfords and its lawyers. It reinforces Setfords dedication to providing excellent client care and the best possible service to its clients.
It can often be difficult for homeowners to choose a firm of solicitors and schemes like this can really help consumers make an informed decision based on performance and quality.
Guy Setford, partner of the firm has said:
“Obtaining CQS is a milestone for Setfords and we are fully supportive of the objectives of the scheme.”
Guy added: “It is incredibly useful for clients to be able to measure firms against an industry standard, such as CQS, and make an informed decision.”
Chris Setford, fellow partner, said: “CQS offers security and peace of mind for clients and it enables us to demonstrate quality management standards to lenders.”
This accreditation comes hot on the heels of back to back nominations at both the British Legal Awards and the Toast of Surrey Awards, proving that Setfords Solicitors is going from strength to strength.
