Nevena is a solicitor specialising in complex commercial litigation, cross-border commercial disputes, international arbitration and commercial advisory matters. She advises businesses, investors and private clients on commercial disputes, corporate transactions and regulatory matters. She regularly acts on matters involving multiple jurisdictions.

Her disputes practice focuses on high-value cross-border commercial disputes, acting in matters before the High Court in London and in arbitrations conducted under LMAA, ICC, LCIA and ICSID rules. She has advised clients across the maritime, transport, insurance, energy, construction and other commercial sectors on contractual disputes, fraud allegations, asset recovery, enforcement proceedings and multi-jurisdictional litigation strategies.

Alongside her disputes practice, Nevena advises high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs and international clients on the acquisition, disposal and structuring of high-value assets, including residential and commercial property transactions, yachts, fine art and other investment and luxury assets. 

In addition, Nevena advises businesses on a broad range of commercial matters, including the drafting, reviewing and negotiation of commercial contracts, commercial risk management and general business advisory issues. She also advises overseas businesses seeking to establish or expand their presence in the UK, providing practical guidance on legal and commercial considerations relevant to operating in the UK market.

Prior to qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales, Nevena practised as a lawyer in Serbia and worked within the Commercial Court in Belgrade. She holds an LLM from the University of Cambridge, is a Solicitor of England and Wales, a member of the Bar Association of Serbia and a member of the British-South African Chamber of Commerce.
