Nazia Nawaz Consultant Solicitor, Private Wealth Disputes

Nazia qualified in 2003 and has practised as a Dispute Resolution Solicitor ever since, focusing almost exclusively on private wealth disputes for many years. She brings over 25 years of legal experience at regional and national firms, and has been ranked as a Legal 500 Leading Partner in Contentious Trusts and Probate.

Nazia handles all types of disputes relating to personal and family wealth and inheritance, including:

  • Executor and trustee disputes, including breach of trust, breach of fiduciary duty, mismanagement of trust assets, failure to act in beneficiaries' best interests and conflicts of interest
  • High-net-worth family disputes, including succession disputes involving international estates, cross-border probate and trust litigation, family business disputes and jurisdictional disputes
  • Probate litigation and will disputes

  • Beneficial interest and other claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996
  • Succession disputes in farming families

She represents clients nationally and internationally, including in cases involving cross-border interests, foreign assets, and multi-jurisdictional matters.
