Liz qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 1996. She has extensive experience in residential conveyancing, including acting for developers selling new-build plots and buyers purchasing new-build properties. She also enjoys handling barn conversion transactions.

Liz believes in clear communication and doing what she says she will do, when she says she will do it. She understands the importance of keeping clients informed, particularly when circumstances or timescales change. Recognising that every client has different needs, with some preferring detailed updates and others wanting only the key information, Liz adapts her approach accordingly. She provides straightforward, accessible advice so that clients feel informed and supported throughout the conveyancing process.

Career highlights

Liz takes pride in finding creative solutions to complex problems and helping clients feel confident throughout their property transactions. She particularly enjoys reaching exchange of contracts, when the transaction becomes legally binding and clients can feel reassured that key risks have been resolved.

One of Liz’s greatest achievements is the strong, long-standing relationships she has built with her clients. Many have returned to her over the course of more than 25 years, recommending her to their families, friends and colleagues. She values the trust her clients place in her and takes pride in providing a professional yet personal service.

In her previous role, Liz was Director and Head of Residential Property at a well-known firm in Chelmsford. During her nine years in that role, she grew the team from one to 25 people, an achievement she found immensely rewarding.

Outside of work

Outside of work, Liz enjoys Sudoku, true crime and problem-solving, interests that reflect her analytical approach to her legal work. She also loves travelling, planning future trips, spending time in her garden and exploring home design and homewares. More recently, she has taken up walking and enjoys discovering the details and scenery that can often be missed when travelling by car.
