Xiaoqian (Sophia) Liu Consultant Solicitor

I qualified as a solicitor in 2018, and I specialise in both residential and commercial property. I am fluent in both English and Mandarin. 

I act for clients across the UK and overseas and have extensive knowledge in dealing with international sources of funds in respect of property matters. 

My expertise includes all types of residential property matters with a particular focus on leasehold and new build transactions. I also provide general commercial property advice, including land disposal and acquisition, commercial leases, funding security work on projects, and residential development work.

I provide my clients with thorough support when language could be a barrier to them; I am a firm believer that communication is the key, whether my clients prefer English or another language. I have a very personal approach to client care and am pragmatic in providing legal advice in a format tailored to the client.

I live in West Yorkshire with my husband, our son, a grumpy Pekingese dog and a tabby cat. I enjoy the scenery in the Dales and the authentic oriental food.
