Sarah-Jane has over ten years’ experience advising both individuals and employers on a wide range of employment issues, both contentious and non-contentious.
Sarah-Jane has a wealth of experience in conducting Tribunal litigation, from the initial presentation of a claim or defence through to a hearing or settlement. Sarah-Jane advises individuals on issues arising during their employment, such as being subjected to a performance management process, disciplinary proceedings, bringing a grievance against their employer or being subjected to any form of discrimination or sexual harassment.
She also advises individuals on the termination of their employment, and is experienced at negotiating favourable settlement packages. Sarah-Jane advises individuals on their post-termination restrictive covenants when moving to a new employer and on their contracts of employment when starting a new position.
Sarah-Jane advises employers on all employee relations issues, such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance management procedures, terminations (including redundancy processes), subject access requests and TUPE transfers. Sarah-Jane is experienced at drafting employment contracts, settlement agreements and reviewing and drafting policies and procedures for Staff Handbooks.
