Rebecca has 15 years experience in family law work, having trained in a legal aid practice. She is committed to assisting you with your concerns in a conciliatory fashion to reach an outcome where your needs and requirements have been listened to. She is collaboratively trained which means that she has a modern approach to family law issues whereby you and your former partner and his/her solicitor, sit round a table to work out the best way to reach a resolution with regard to the matters which are important to both of you.
The collaborative approach may not be the right approach for everyone and Rebecca has extensive experience in dealing with matters which ultimately are settled by the court process. This is very much a last resort but sometimes it is a necessity. You will have the opportunity at a first fixed fee meeting to discuss the various options which are available and decide how you would like your concerns to be dealt with.
Rebecca is happy to arrange meetings at a venue which is convenient to you and at a time which is convenient to you. Appointments are available in the evenings and on Saturdays. You may find that initial fixed fee appointment is all that you require at this stage whilst you consider your options.
Rebecca can advise on matters relating to children, finance on divorce, divorce, cohabitation and pre - nuptial agreements.
What Rebecca's clients say
“As the dust is settling and reality is sinking in I wanted to take the opportunity to Thank you for absolutely everything the past 10 months (it feels like longer) without your support and guidance I would have no idea where I would have started. I am forever in your debt. With your support my little boy will now have the same opportunity to a normal school life as children who aren't faced with a separated family situation. He will finally have the stability, structure, boundaries and routine, along with undivided attention from this household that any child deserves. He can finally be nurtured in a continual pattern to instil structure and stability. I am completely overwhelmed at the outcome and to hear others agree with what the basis of our argument was, is completely mind blowing. To have 3 complete strangers agree that my little boy deserves what I am trying to give him is amazing. I just hope that this resonates with his father and he finally understands that this has to happen for Ollie and not about either of us becoming part time parents. Whilst I hope this is the last we hear of this issue for some time I do somewhat doubt it as he tends to listen to others preaching in his ear rather than being able to make up his own mind hangs on every word of others. I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted and that's mainly down to your hard work. Thank you so much Rebecca Forever grateful ”
