Rachel is a Consultant Solicitor, with over 10 years’ experience in private practice, specialising in:
- Wills
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Grant of Probate applications (including Letters of Administration)
- Deputyship applications
- Declarations of Trust
- Name Change Deeds
- General Estate Planning services, such as specialist Inheritance Tax, Trust and Care Home Fee advice.
Rachel is an Affiliate member of STEP (Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners) and a fully accredited member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly known as Solicitors for the Elderly), meaning she is trained to advise vulnerable and older clients.
Rachel offers a friendly, compassionate, professional service and was recognised as a “Rising Star” in The Legal 500 UK 2024. Her clients describe her as “not only an excellent solicitor but a truly wonderful and warm person, with her extensive knowledge and expertise, as well as her lovely manner”.
Before joining Setfords as a Consultant, Rachel worked at Fosters Solicitors LLP for over 12 years, qualifying into the Wills, Trusts, and Probate Department as a Solicitor in 2014. She was subsequently awarded recognition as a Senior Associate in 2016.
As well as spending time with her family and friends, Rachel enjoys yoga, long-distance walking and has a passion for Mediterranean cuisine. Rachel also has a keen interest in languages. She was raised bilingually by her parents; speaking both English and Italian and later studied Spanish and French.
