Tim started his legal career as a Barrister and solicitor at the Supreme Court of Nigeria. He at various times worked as a legal Adviser and also as Company Secretary/Legal Adviser to a company in the Finance sector in the early 1990s and a Company in the oil and gas sector, respectively.
He later became the Principal Partner of Rotimi Oluwole & Associates, a firm of Solicitors based in Nigeria.
He was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2004 after relocating to the United Kingdom in the early 2000s. He became a Partner at Whitecross Solicitors, a law firm based in London, for about ten years, having worked there for 12 years. He after that joined the Leasehold Advisory Service, an Executive Non - Departmental Public Body sponsored by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and the Welsh Government (WG) as a Legal Adviser between 2015 to 2018.
At various times after leaving employment, he had a brief stint as Principal at Handerson Solicitors, a law firm based in England. He after that worked freelance as an Independent Solicitor before joining Setfords.
His practice area is Residential conveyancing, mainly Sales and Purchase of Freehold and Leasehold property, New Builds and Shared Ownership transactions. Other areas include Collective Enfranchisement, sale of Freeholds in Leases, Lease Extensions, and Deeds of Variation.
