Kirsten is a pragmatic and adaptable lawyer with over 15 years’ legal experience advising businesses on a wide variety of corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.
After training at and working for a magic circle law firm in the City of London, Kirsten has spent the majority of her career as an in-house solicitor for a number of global financial institutions. In these roles, Kirsten has advised on an extensive range of legal matters including the establishment of new businesses, corporate governance and compliance requirements and regulatory implementation. Kirsten also has an in-depth understanding of business financing structures and documentation.
Kirsten’s practice at Setfords comprises legal advice relating all of aspects of the life cycle of a business including, but not limited to:
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts such as licensing and software agreements, business terms and conditions, confidentiality agreements and marketing agreements;
- Advising on corporate governance and compliance matters;
- Advising on regulatory matters such as the implementation of new regulations and dealing with regulators such as the FCA; and
- Advising on financial matters such as loan documentation and other financing structures.
With particular expertise and understanding of the financial and charity sectors, Kirsten’s aim is to be a trusted adviser for the businesses that she works with.
Outside of her legal career Kirsten is a busy parent who likes to relax by doing yoga, walking in the countryside and watching boxsets.
