I crossed the Rubicon into law in my 40s when the opportunity arose for me to be able to take time out to study. I first qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in 2005, which I was proud to achieve, and my plan was to set up a conveyancing firm. I was then given the opportunity to requalify as a solicitor. It meant years more studying, while working and doing my training contract, but I did it and went on the roll on 1st April 2014.
I specialise in:
- Commercial Real Estate and complex land matters
- Commercial Landlord and Tenant
- My niche specialism is Telecoms Real Estate.
I was an in house counsel for major telecoms infrastructure providers and now bring my expertise and pragmatic approach to assisting land owners whose land or rooftop has telecoms infrastructure on there.
My interests are spending time with friends and family (I have 5 grandchildren), reading, painting animals with attitude, and up until recently I was sailing regularly on our yacht; I have my day skipper practical and yacht master theory.
