Anne is a specialist Family Lawyer with over 23 years’ experience in all aspects of Family Law. She is sympathetic and approachable, fully understanding the stress caused by a relationship breakdown.
Her expertise includes advising upon the financial issues which arise following divorce and separation and over the years she has acted for a number of health service professionals, teachers, university lecturers and police officers where pensions have been an issue. She has also advised on complex financial cases involving companies and partnerships.
Anne also has a particular interest in property disputes which arise between former cohabiting couples and also prepares cohabitation agreements to help couples avoid problems arising in the future. Anne has a wealth of experience in dealing with all issues relating to children, acting for grandparents as well as parents, negotiating child arrangements agreements or assisting clients with Court applications, if necessary.
Anne is a member of Resolution and endeavours, where possible, to encourage clients to adopt a non-confrontational approach to divorce and separation. She is a Collaborative Lawyer and Mediator and, therefore, able to offer a full range of services to her clients.
Prior to joining Setfords, Anne was a partner in a legal 500 practice and left to enjoy a flexible lifestyle and offer a more personal and cost effective service to her clients. As part of this personal service Anne is able to offer appointments and communicate with her clients outside of the normal working hours and offers an initial free half hour telephone or email conversation.
