As efforts continue to tackle COVID-19, many social distancing measures remain in place. However, Setfords is continuing to provide a full legal service.
Our business model is built around smart working, with our technology designed to support more than 250 lawyers who were already working from home before the lockdown. This enables them to provide legal support without the need for social contact.
The information here outlines how we are continuing to operate, and what adjustments we have made to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.
- Our lawyers work remotely from home.
- The bulk of documentation can be sent by email.
- We have access to an electronic signature service, further reducing the need to post documents.
- We have conference and video calling facilities which allow us to hold online meetings and discussions.
Our support staff
In addition to our lawyers working from home, the vast majority of our office-based staff are now working remotely. We have implemented a wellbeing programme to ensure our teams feel supported in their new working environment and to ensure they can continue to deliver the same, high level of service to our clients. This includes regular WhatsApp chats and video calls between our management teams, staff and lawyers.
