Setfords is continuing to grow its litigation team with the appointment of consultant Darryn Harris – a dual-qualified lawyer who has practised in both South Africa and England and Wales.
Darryn practised as an attorney in South Africa before emigrating to the UK in 2003. He qualified to practice English law in 2008 and has since advised both public and private sector clients on a variety of property disputes including debt-related claims, unauthorised traveler encampments and statutory nuisance claims.
Darryn said: “I am thrilled to be joining such a forward-looking firm as Setfords. I was particularly attracted by their consultant model, which delivers a very tailored and personal offering to clients.
“And as a father to two young children, one of whom is autistic, being flexible in my working life is a great asset to both me and my family.”
CEO Chris Setford said ”We are delighted to have Darryn on board. His background within public and private practice will be of huge benefit to our burgeoning client base in the property sector.”
CEO Guy Setford added: “Darryn’s international expertise adds another dimension to the department and is one of just a number of new litigators joining the firm as a consultant in the coming months.”
