Setfords expands family law department with arrival of Robyn Allardice-Bourne

With mediation becoming an ever more popular choice for separating couples, Setfords are very pleased to welcome aboard a solicitor with extensive experience helping families reach amicable agreements.

Robyn Allardice-Bourne is a family lawyer and accredited family mediator and is qualified to conduct initial assessment meetings for mediation, known as MIAMs.

Robyn encourages couples, where possible, to reach practical solutions by working together to resolve family issues involving finances and children.

Robyn, who joins Setfords from Spring Law, where she was a partner and Head of Mediation, is a member of the Law Society Family Panel and sits on the Family Section Advisory Group.

Building on a business and commercial background, Robyn is also a senate committee member of the Genesis Initiative, formed to improve the quality of the debate on SMEs in the UK and Europe by creating economic reform, driven by SMEs and supported by parliamentarians. Robyn’s commercial roles include being Chief of Corporate Development at Code First: Girls and the founder of the International Mediation and Arbitration Network Ltd.

Setfords CEO Chris Setford said: “We’re very pleased Robyn has joined us. Her experience in family matters makes her an important addition to our family team and we’re looking forward to offering Robyn the support she needs to continue to grow her practice.”

Robyn said: “I am delighted to be joining a firm that embraces the changes in family law by supporting mediation and arbitration resolutions.”
