Setfords supports The Legal Walk 2013

Setfords Solicitors is pleased to be taking part in this year’s Guildford Legal Walk in aid of the London Legal Support Trust, with the Guildford proceeds going mainly to support the Surrey Law Centre. The walk consists of a 10km route around Guildford and the surrounding country side.The Setfords team includes partners, consultants and support staff. They will be wearing the finest in fancy dress on the day so that the team can be easily identified along the route.  The team is well on its own for reaching its own target but every little helps. The Legal Support Trust was established in 2004 as an independent charity to raise funds for free legal advice services in London and the South East. It runs a number of events throughout the year raisings fun to support those who need access to free legal service. This walking event, to be held on May 20th, is sponsored by the Law Society and is part of a number of events run by the Trust, which includes other walks across the UK in London, Canterbury, Newbury, Brighton, Eastbourne and Hastings. Last year the Guildford Walk raised over £8,000 and with this years target over this Setfords is pleased to be able to enter their team and the trust reach its goal. It has regularly received support from the Surrey Law Society and the College of Law as well as the District Judges of the Guildford Court who also turn out to complete the walk.For more information on this and any of the work done by The Legal Support Trust please visit their website.
