A drop in property asking prices

It has been some time since residential property experts will have been reading about a drop in the asking prices for properties, but the property website Rightmove today announced that this month has seen a drop in prices of 1.7%.

Experts are blaming the low stock as a reason for sellers to have unrealistic ideas of what their homes will sell for and feel that sellers are going to have to drop asking prices in order to get a sale. They are also crediting a lower number of buyers on the poor summer weather coupled with the build up to the Olympics.
