The National Trust are looking to purchase an additional mile of the white cliffs of Dover in order to join up their existing stretches of the coast line. A story that will appeal and be a positive thought for environmentalists, wild-life experts and commercial property lawyers alike. As not only will it preserve the habitat for the local wild-life it is gives a positive spin on a story where a private individual has held land and is selling on for a good cause and preservation for future generations.
The Trust wish to purchase the land to ensure the future safety of the area. It will free it from the threat of building and development work while at the same time preserving the wild-life that live in the unique environment. Exmoor ponies will graze in the area and kittiwakes, fulmars and peregrine falcons already make their homes around the cliffs. The contents of this article are intended for general information purposes only and shall not be deemed to be, or constitute legal advice.
