Simon trained and qualified in 1991 at City law firm Taylor Wessing where he specialized in corporate finance and commercial law. In 1995 he joined SITA UK the leading environmental and waste management services company as Legal & Compliance Director.
Between 2001 and 2008 Simon was a Partner in the Company Commercial Department and Head of the Environmental and Renewable Energy Group at Clarkslegal LLP. Simon had a particular focus on corporate transactions in the Renewables & Cleantech sectors and on
procurement of complex waste management contracts. Simon has been consistently recognised and rated in Legal 500 and Chambers as a leading lawyer in his field.
In addition to providing legal advice Simon also has experience of fundraising for and leading on the commercial development of renewable energy projects in the UK and in Central & Eastern Europe.
