Simon joined Setfords as a consultant in January 2012 and specialises in Real Estate, both commercial and residential.
Having qualified in the City of London and practised there until 2006, Simon now represents both individual and corporate clients who occupy property on transactional matters, including;
- Lettings and renewal leases
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Development and redevelopment
- Mortgages and other legal charges
- Auction sales and purchases
- Properties in insolvencies
- Unusual property issues, from reservoirs and mobile phone masts to listed buildings with EU funding
Simon has specific expertise acting for retailers and charities, including putting in place the first Capital Asset Transfer lease to a charity client from Birmingham City Council.
Simon lives in Warwickshire and when not working enjoys cycling, cooking, reading and motorsport.
