Gary is a specialist property lawyer and deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing in freehold and leasehold property. He has a wide range of experience in many aspects of residential conveyancing including buy-to-let, remortgaging, shared ownership and rural land. Gary has also
acted for a number of house builders in plot sales, land purchase and overage agreements as well as acting for a Housing Association in the sale of shared ownership properties.
Gary lives in a Hampshire village near Basingstoke with his wife and two school-age children. Away from work Gary has an eclectic range of interests including painting in acrylic and building extensions on his house. He enjoys cycling and completed a ride from London to Paris last year.
Coming from a background of retail management and running his own business for many years before taking up a legal career, Gary delivers a no-nonsense, clear and client focussed service that has helped him build a loyal client base. His non-traditional approach is appreciated by clients who like the flexibility to contact or see their lawyer out of normal office hours at weekends and in the evenings.
Gary has practised in a number of firms in Hampshire and Berkshire specialising in property for over ten years. Gary joined Setfords as a Consultant Licensed Conveyancer in 2010.
